RATIONAL THINKING

“Concept without percept is empty.
Percept without concept is blind.”
--Immanuel Kant

The rational mind depends upon sense data or experience for its certainty; however, because of the potential for delusions and/or illusions, a progressive, independent thinker reserves some skepticism and objectively exercises critical thinking with open-mindedness. –Perman Wilson

“Contrary to popular opinion, faith and euphoria do not trump hard, credible, scientific evidence that actually exists.” –D. M. Murdock

Mythicists have found hard, credible evidence that the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Baha’i) originated from ideas that were indeed mythological.

The simple, recurring truth is that the minds of human beings constantly search for answers to their questions—some of which are unanswerable. And, when answers are not discovered by way of experience, people tend to speculate (or imagine answers). Many speculations have been accepted as true by many people. Many religions and superstitions are based upon mere speculations.

The fact that so many people believe something does not make it true. –Perman Wilson

“The orthodox idea that Christ was the son of God—God himself in human form—that he was the creator of the countless millions of glowing suns and wheeling worlds that strew the infinite expanse of the universe; that the forces of nature were servants of his will and changed their courses at his command—such an idea has been abandoned by every independent thinker in the world—by every thinker who relies on reason and experience rather than mere faith—by every man of science who places the integrity of nature above the challenge of ancient religious tales.” –Marshall J. Gauvin

“The reality is there is not one shred of secular evidence there ever was a Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ and Christianity is a modern religion. And Jesus Christ is a compilation from other gods: Osiris, Mithras, who had the same origins the same death as the mythological Jesus Christ.” –Ellen Johnson

However, now that so many great thinkers have proved that Christianity is based upon myths, I will redirect my research and presentations to finding and explaining how it has been so convincing to so many people and if there are any negative side-effects—even though such irrational thinking has in many ways been of benefit to humanity.

As I close this exposition of my research, I am aware that many people will hopelessly still cling to their irrational beliefs; but, some may be interested in knowing how Christianity has essentially hypnotized so many people. For those of you who are indeed interested, look forward to my postings.

In the meantime, remember: "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. After they are disturbed, they will marvel. They will no longer be ruled by superstition and fear created by those in power." --Author unknown

RELIGIONS ARE BASED UPON MYTHS

Myths are very powerful symbols, because the subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between what is real and what has simply been imagined.

Religions are based upon myths. Everybody can understand the mythology in the religions of others. It is just their own religion wherein they seem unable to see the mythology. Especially the Abrahamic religions (i.e., Judaism, Christianity, and Islam), whereas the mythology is embedded in a pseudo-historical context.

Listen to the following video that uncovers the mythological basis of Christianity.
